Julie Marino of Englewood has never met New Milford’s Ralph Kwak, yet they’re in complete agreement on this point: If they ever have to buy or sell another home, they’re both going to call Dr. Ruth Miron-Schleider of Miron Properties.
Kwak, a Bergen County businessman, says that his home was on the market for what seemed like an eternity, but no realtor could find a buyer for it. “Then, a friend told me about Dr. Ruth,” he exults, “and she did in a few months what three realtors couldn’t do in two. years.” Kwak adds that Dr. Ruth is more than a good realtor, “She’s a good business friend, a professional whose opinion I trust.”
Although she is unacquainted with Kwak, Marino had the same rewarding experience in dealing with Dr. Ruth. “During the weeks we needed to come to a decision, Ruth provided tremendous moral support,” Marino said. “She was always

While justifiably proud of her real estate accomplishments, Dr. Ruth maintains that success has helped her develop an upbeat attitude that serves her clients well. “My clients ask me why I’m so positive about solving problems. I tell them it’s because I don’t see problems, I see challenges. “So I don’t sell houses,” she explains, “nor do I persuade people to buy. I just meet all the challenges, and provide all the information.”
Whether in the field of real estate or music, success is no stranger to Miron-Schleider. While still in her early teens, she won first prize in an Israeli national piano competition, a laurel that led to a Baroness de Rothschild Fellowship, a distinguished award in a Mozart piano competition, and ultimately, to permanent move to the United States where she earned a masters degree in music at The Juilliard School. While raising two children, she returned to Columbia University to earn a second masters degree and a doctorate in musical education.
