Biography

Jacqui Herman has lived in suburban communities all her life, from Great Neck on Long Island to the greater Deal area of New Jersey, to Fairfield County, Connecticut and finally Englewood, New Jersey where she’s enjoyed the last 25 years. Jacqui knows the Bergen County area intimately, and understands and appreciates the benefits, demands and needs involved with finding the right home.

Whether an apartment, a modern ranch, stately century-old homestead or traditional home, Jacqui has lived in and loved them all. She has also personally bought and sold, learned from every deal, plus knows the advantages and disadvantages of different properties, areas and scenarios.

Prior to real estate, Jacqui owned and operated several businesses including a tennis camp, and more recently founded and operated an internationally-recognized accessory company, Gutzees. She holds an MBA from Sacred Heart University. Her business expertise and marketing skills are invaluable to her clients, because as she Jacqui puts it, “I see a home not only as it is, but what it can be for its new owner. My job is to help buyers envision possibilities, and to bring out the best in each seller’s property, resulting in the perfect match.”

Finding the right living space for a client is an exciting challenge for which Jacqui is prepared, and wholeheartedly welcomes. Beyond her passion for real estate and client service, she has been active giving back by serving on boards of local, national and international charities and hospitals, including the Center for Hearing and Communication. For fun Jacqui likes traveling and sharing cultural experiences, as well as playing tennis, golf, bridge and Mahjong.
