Alpine is a small rural community offering prestige & privacy, an easy commute to the Financial Capital of the world & three major airports, an excellent school system, extremely low taxes & an extraordinary sense of community pride. The average home sale price is ranked amongst the highest in the nation.

A unique location & home to many of the affluent, Alpine New Jersey residents pay only 94 cents per $100 of assessed valuation on their taxes because of their high property values & small number of school children. This is one of the lowest rates in the state & another reason why Bergen County is such a magnet for millionaires. In 2007 Alpine ranked Number One in a tie with Greenwich, Connecticut on the ABC News list of most expensive zip codes with the average home sale price around $3.4 million.

Alpine has numerous other reasons for its rich residents. The schools are excellent, it’s convenient to New York & the George Washington Bridge & its small population of only 265 people per square mile. Alpine has no apartment complexes, no mailboxes & only three local businesses. Alpine Residents do most of their shopping in Cresskill & Closter.
